Many people are comfortable waiting until they die to see what happens beyond this life. Obviously, it is too late to change anything.

We would never take this approach with anything else in our lives that could potentially have such grave consequences. The reason people do this with God is so they can avoid the changes to their lives that God’s Holy Spirit makes in people.

The Devil has them convinced that their lives would be nothing without their sins. They are distracted by the pleasures of this world and put off finding out what happens after this life is over and all those worldly things are gone. They try to comfort themselves by thinking that the next life will be anything they want it to be.

Don’t wait until its too late before you find out what’s after this life. Read The Bible. Ask God to give you faith. Ask God to forgive you. Believe in the payment that Jesus made for your sins.

Do this and, through the faith that God gives you, you will know that you will spend the next life with Jesus in Heaven.

And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgement.

Hebrews 9:27

The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His Kingdom all things that cause stumbling, and those who do iniquity, and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be weeping and the gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine forth like the sun in the Kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear.
